Engineering services company Cyient has announced an expansion of its partnership with German regional aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft. The agreement includes a multi-year contract for managing technical documentation supporting the lifecycle of the D328eco, a 40-seater regional turboprop aircraft.
The contract involves developing advanced, scalable documentation solutions to enhance the aircraft's safety-critical aviation systems. This includes providing Deutsche Aircraft's global customer base with modular architecture and faster market accessibility. Cyient’s AI-enabled products will be integrated into the solution.
Krishna Bodanapu, Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Cyient, stated that the company will leverage its expertise in various aerospace domains to contribute to the D328eco program.
Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, remarked that the collaboration with Cyient aligns with the development goals for the D328eco and strengthens their ongoing efforts in sustainable aviation technology.
The agreement is also noted to support the "Make in India" initiative, further cementing Cyient's role in Indian and European aerospace markets.
Deutsche Aircraft continues to develop the D328eco as an advanced regional aircraft aimed at achieving sustainability in air transport.
