Dhruva Space announced that it has successfully tracked ISRO’s twin SpaDeX satellites, Chaser (SDX01) and Target (SDX02), using Earth-based telescopes and received their Radio Frequency signals through its S&X-band antenna at IIT-Hyderabad.
According to the company’s statement, this activity represents a step towards enhancing its Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and satellite communication capabilities. The technologies used in this demonstration were designed and developed domestically.
The company stated that these developments aim to address the growing need for precise satellite tracking amidst the increasing density of orbital assets. This activity supports efforts to ensure effective satellite operations in a complex space environment.
