Ramco Systems has announced a partnership with Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunication Co., Ltd. (HIST), a subsidiary of South Korea's Hanjin Group, to implement its Aviation 6.0 software. This collaboration aims to support the digital transformation of Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations in South Korea's aviation sector.
The partnership includes deploying the software at Korean Air, South Korea’s national carrier. The implementation will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing the supply chain, and improving engine maintenance processes. HIST will provide IT consulting expertise, while Ramco will offer its AI-powered aviation software solutions.
Bong-Sup Byun, CEO of HIST, highlighted the potential for growth this collaboration brings to the aviation and IT industries in South Korea. Manoj Kumar Singh, Chief Customer Officer at Ramco Systems, stated that the implementation at Korean Air is expected to streamline operations and support future innovation.
Ramco Aviation Software currently serves over 90 aviation organizations worldwide, managing over 4,000 aircraft. It is designed to deliver cloud-based solutions for airlines, MRO providers, and defense organizations, focusing on enhancing efficiency through advanced digital tools.
